I had the privilege of animating the opening sequence for "Gernstl's Reisen – Auf der Suche nach irgendwas," produced by megaherz.

The 3:30min long sequence narrates the journey of the young Franz Xaver Gernstl, depicting how he evolved into the renowned Bavarian filmmaker he is well-known for today.

To animate this mixture of beautiful crafted illustrations by Paul Grabowski and old photos from the archives for the big screen was truly a special project for me.
